🎇 Half Life 2 Episode 1 Mods

I thought I got an amazing deal in Game (haha now defunct) in the UK, whereby it was the holiday 2006 edition, which included Half Life 2, Episode 1, Half Life Source! Now I've been getting a lot of problems running mods, even recent ones, and I think it might be that I am missing the gcf files for Episode 2. This mod is a labor of love for our team at Rogue Studios, led by development lead Prickly Mime. We are dedicated to continuing the development of the mod started by our late friend and colleague, ArkSynix. Ark was a talented and passionate developer who had a vision for a truly unique and immersive Half-Life 2 mod. Highest Rated (3 agree) 7/10 A good little atmospheric experience, but some improvement could be made here and there. The environments felt a bit inconsistent- the office walls and props we see for the majority of the mod were very flat (and using dev textures!), as opposed to the nice crunchy and detailed Xen textures. This is all the content from hl2 ep1, models, materials, sounds and other, you need this and the ep1 maps for it to work in gmod, just put it in your addons folder. Chapter 2 is nearly complete, featuring basically no assets from Half-Life 2 at this point. We’ve been focusing on finding ways to better pace the level out and lean into the game’s unique setting, hopefully getting away from some of the generic industrial vibes of the past.
